Now we will see, whats left after the war is over.

Charlotte and Intensity looked for another host. It looks that they have found one.

However this is an action of resigned DMs and not of the Anphillia DMs now. Nevertheless I supported Charlotte in gaining access to the vault. She had access before, so why shall I take this access away only because she resigned. I really dislike to make life more difficult to others.

If the Anphillia DMs decide to move there too, they are free to do so. In this case they have my full support and I also think, that Sherian will help them to become comfortable on the new server. This option always was there. As long as Anphillia wants to stay on my servers, they are free to do so. If they want to move on, I will never place any obstacles in their way.

What can you expect from the new server? I don't know. All I know is, that I will no more support them, as my time does not permit to run foreign servers.

However if they decide to stay, I would be glad, too, as I put a lot of effort (and money!) into Anphillia. In this case the split also has my full support (as far as I can help) and I would be happy to see that players can move back and forth between the both servers. As everything we do is about the players, right?

What can you expect from staying?

No change at all. The service will kept up as usual. You will have the forum as usual. All changes will go forward as usual. Nothing will change from my side, except that I hopefully have more time to to the fixes which are needed, instead of fighting for words.

Will I influence in the server more than befor?

No.

Will I change rules of Anphillia?

Definitively not. I will try to bring the DMs to clean up the rulesets, but I am definitively against changing any rules which make up Anphillia.

Will I allow Sherian to take over the community?

Certainly not. I will respect the changes which are needed, but those must be kept to a bare minimum. The Community shall be driven by the community, that is the players, and not the DMs. If the players want to change the world, and do so IG, they must be allowed to do so, IG, without a DM sending a mob to sort them out. Well. No. The DM shall send a mob to sort them out, because changing the world must be a hard task to gain. Well, you know what I mean: Keep it fair. That's what it must be.

Will I take influence on the DMs?

Indirectly. This is done through the Liason DM. The goal is to have more clear and easy rules, such that the players can have more fun to play. It's that simple. The server primarily is for the players, not the DMs.

The task of the Liason DM is to make sure, that everything is kept tidy. I personally don't want to know anything about it. Only if there is real trouble ahead, the Liason DM shall contact the hosts to get a ruling. This way there is somebody who knows Anphillia best and do everything.

My goal

My goal simply is to be able to completely stay out of the way. With the current hosting agreement, this was not possible at all. Therefor a change was needed.

With the Liason DM somebody was introduced who can take over the part. Such that I can get rid of this excess effort in discussing about Anphillia internals, which I don't want to discuss.

As the Liason DM takes over to look after the community I get freed from the legal task to do so. Therefor I can sit back and relax.

I can do this, too, if you leave. Note that I can dedicate the server to something different, then, nothing is wasted at my side.
