Rampant Rants

There is a lot buzz about OpenID. It's so easy to use. It's easy to understand. It's plain easy.

Is it?

No.

  • The libraries are just a pain in the ass. On elder computers they need an updates of most basic packages to be used. They just require too much.
  • The documentation plainly sucks.
  • Getting started is extremely difficult.
Here I want to try to make it easy - for me - to implement OpenID, from scratch.
