Captain Copyright

In Canada "The Canadian Copyright Licensing Agency" wants to renovate the Copyright. The idea:

If you start early enough to brain-wash kids with lies and FUD, you will make them heavenly sent zombie consumers from hell in their later life. Or you can say they want to make them marketing whores who brainless buy anything the industry wants them to.

But having a stupid idea cannot be enough for them. It's all too likely for them that somebody might have another opinion on this area. So they just disallow people criticizing their website to set a link such, that other people cannot, hopefully, find them and tell them what they think or get their own opinion on this matter. And they think, they are allowed to be the world police who has the solely last word in this. Cite:

Well, you did it! You woke my mood about people doing so as you do. You are pestering my living environment now. You stink and the following is the consequence:

The [..] website and materials are undergoing a revision. The site was launched as a pilot project earlier this year and it is now time to take the feedback it has received and make the revisions needed to ensure this is the best possible tool for educators and their students.

Read: We now see that we are retarded idiots and don't want to tell openly that we are only doing bullshit.

Thank you to all of the educators who have already used the materials and provided their positive feedback to us – we're working hard to make these tools even better for you [..].

Read: We wished anybody would have fallen the trap but it did not work out, so we decided to draw back until our chefs stop beating us badly and perhaps will give us a second chance.

Really?

We have secured a number of subject matter experts and educators to serve on an advisory panel to review and revise the existing [..] materials, as well as assist with the creation of new materials focusing on topics such as the Creative Commons, fair dealing, and the public domain. A complete list of their names and credentials will be released once it is finalized.

We are still seeking for people who dare to waste their name for us so that in future we can blame them, so our chefs beat them, not us! And we are still in the phase to find a way to neglect the GPL, as Microsoft will not give more money if we fail in this respect.

The [..] site was created for educators because they told us through surveys and focus groups conducted by an independent consultant that they needed tools to help them teach their students about copyright, but none were available.

We were tricked by some people who made us believe some people are interested in lying about copyright to innocent children. Hey, don't blame us our effort wasn't sufficient, as the pupils started laughing at their teachers, because the latter really were so naive to use our bullshit. (BTW, only one teacher was so stupid to do so, after we bribed him, all others refused.)

The tools on the [..] site will meet their needs and ensure that they can offer their students a complete and balanced understanding of copyright.

Well, as the old tools are no more there this concludes that they are chicken, because they fear, everybody will laugh at them. If they had balls they would keep the archive open. As they have no balls they must be some impotent bastards. Sue me and I will show you a mathematical proof that you are idiots, as you already have proven this yourself.

The downside is, that I do not have a copy of their bullshit, so I cannot prove how extremely retarded this was. Well, there are more important things out there, so after I have dumped my anger now I can go back to some more productive work.

Oh, a last note: Leave me alone or I tell where a copy of this crap can still be downloaded from. That's not threat, it's a promise.
